One broadsheet page, every deal found.

A SPAR broadsheet page from KwaZulu-Natal, run through Deal Extractor. The boxes, crops and JSON below are what the system returned. Prices are in rand because that's what the page carries; the schema is the same in any currency.

SPAR Super Savings broadsheet page with detected deal regions — Boxes show the detected deal regions. Coordinates are returned in source-image pixels (this page is 1501 × 2000). Two of the deals are expanded below.

Validity dates

7 to 18 October, read from "Specials available … from / up to and including".

Side-promotion date ignored

The page also says "Ends 8 November" on a side promotion. That isn't the broadsheet's validity period, so it isn't used.

No key number

This page doesn't carry one, so the field is empty rather than guessed.

Terms word for word

Legal text is captured verbatim and kept separate from the promotional copy.
